Montessori
In Little Feat Montessori we provide a warm, safe and welcoming environment in which your child is given the opportunities to develop their independence.

Through practical life the children learn to master everyday tasks including spooning, pouring, threading and matching. This develops their confidence and makes them more able bodied.

Sensorial develops the fine senses and is also an early introduction to maths. The children find the work fun and interesting and the early maths work is of great benefit to them when they go on to "Big School".

We bring the outside world into the classroom in a simple way through our nature table. In our cultural studies we learn about the world in a very "hands on" concrete way e.g. matching cards of plants, animals and also jigsaws of flora and fauna showing the parts of the plant. In this class we give an introduction to geography, including continents and cultures.
